Defined Contribution Institute - Virtual Half Moon Bay Conference

Sep 15th - Sep 17th 2020
1:00 to 2:40pm EST
Virtual Conference

How are Tomorrow's DC Plans Taking Shape Today?

Crises like the COVID-19 pandemic bring turbulence, upheaval, and uncertainty to all, but they can also shine a spotlight on what’s truly needed. Throughout the crisis, we have seen the DC plan sponsor community sharing expertise and best practices, asking and answering urgent questions, and passing around insight and clarity to their peers on everything from COVID-19 and the CARES Act to their observations of their participants and implications for the retirement industry at large. Real world examples and takeaways have always, in our view, been the best tools for improving the DC community, and this crisis has put many past ideas and assumptions on a DC plan’s administration and investments to the test in the real world.

This year's agenda will thus shift the focus to all the real-world applications and results of past concepts, plans, and proposals that have been circulating the DC community since its inception. We will share success stories, the less-so successful missteps, and everything in between that plan sponsor and industry peers have encountered. From case studies to sharing data to keeping the conversation focused on the actionable, the applicable, and the practical, we want to let our plan sponsor community leave Half Moon Bay this year with takeaways that are rooted in cold and unforgiving laboratory that is the real world. So join us this year at virtually at “Half Moon Bay” for three days of candid sharing and fervent learning, we hope you will join us.
